On Sunday, January 20, 2019 Fotomission, Tropicolor and the Miami Design Preservation League hosted the 14th South Beach Photomarathon, an exciting event that is open to all those who enjoy photography.
Participants were assigned six topics to photograph on South Beach over a period of six hours. The topics were kept secret until the event day and were purposefully vague to give the contestants plenty of room for self-expression.
The best photos from each topic have been selected by our judges, and from those, the first, second and third place winners, as well as honorable mentions were awarded prizes. All the contestants' images were exhibited at Tropicolor during a show that featured an opening cocktail. All the images are also permanently displayed on this site.
